Thank-you. Your Shout survey reached out to over 240 ethnically diverse people living in Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole. Made possible by the brilliant Cultural Community Connectors.

80% of respondents had never been asked before how they would like to experience culture and creativity.
​
We also interviewed 15 cultural leaders asking what the current arts and culture landscape looked like and how we can connect better. We heard the voices of the community, collected and shared the findings which led to informing decision-making and the Cultural Strategy for BCP Cultural Compact.

Legacy
Diverse-led Network
The Your Shout legacy led to initiating a Diverse-led Network for creative leaders, founders, entrepreneurs and festival directors from the Bournemouth Christchurch and Poole's global majority.
Attendees such as Dorset Mela, BREACC - Brazilian Education Organisation, Bournemouth Reggae Weekender, DEED and Evision Music Group regularly meet to share knowledge and skills, challenges and resources.
​
Also invited to the attend are the significantly funded BCP cultural organisations and venues.
​
The impact of the network has led to new partnerships, co-curated programs of work and getting to know eachother better for future collaborations. Under-represented founders also generated new funding income into the connurbation increasing their fesivals profile and reach and members also took on
leadership role as chair currently working with the BCP Council arts development team in programming the network events and driving what the future Network could look like.

Pulse Newsletter
Pulse Newsletter piloted during the Your Shout and Ethnic Diversity Consultation Program to explore the appetite for a mutli-cultural newsletter of activities across Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole and in response to the Your Shout survey results to create a one-stop hub of information.

The pilot was successfull from both the local ethnic diverse communities and the NPO orgnanisations.
​
The newsletter has paused due to resources although you are welcome to follow on facebook for any updates.
